This is how my home workspace looks like

State of the Workspace Address! This is my current workspace at home:

SONY DSCSONY DSC SONY DSC

At night, it looks like this:

DSC08510

This is just a modest setup, enough for me and my younger sis’ needs. The monitor is even an LG, which unfortunately is non-VESA compliant, which means I can’t mount it in a simple way :(

The furniture? Just so you know:

  • Big table is a gift from my bro (bought from Gaisano)
  • Small shelf where the Sys Unit is on, is from Makro at about P300,
  • Wooden top shelf is just some stock wood from the attic, dressed with texture stickers from Handyman (3m of these is about P300)
  • Plastic mouldings from a hardware store, less than P100
  • Angle support/L-bars are from, surprise! Unitop/Kaking @ 15/e
  • L-CD Support (upper right) is from an old computer table
  • Old daylight fluorescent lamp shade (upper left) (don’t know the price)
  • Monitor backlight is from CDRKing, at P100
  • Chair from Makro, again a gift (don’t remember the price)
  • The droplight halogens are the quite expensive bunch (at about P200/e minus the ballast)
  • The right side of that room is lit by my favorite warm flourescent lamp from Unitop/kaking, at ~80/e

This is not all great though, the room is still dirty as I haven’t found the right time for general cleanup.

Hope this helps on your next “style your workspace” decisions! :)
